Madeline Hurley

Madeline devotes her practice to family law litigation and negotiation including issues related to divorce, property distribution, spousal agreements, child custody, child support, and domestic violence. She appreciates that going through a divorce or separation can be challenging and she is committed to helping her clients navigate the process. Madeline is a strong advocate for her clients, passionate about protecting their rights, their family, and their financial stability.

Madeline was selected by her peers to the Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers: Rising Stars list in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. In 2022, Madeline was named to Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite for her work in Family Law. While she welcomes recognition from her peers, her greatest satisfaction comes from successfully resolving her clients’ disputes and knowing that she has assisted them in overcoming personal challenges.

Madeline is a member of the Wake County Bar Association, North Carolina Advocates for Justice, and the North Carolina Bar Association where she served on the Task Force on Integration, Equity, and Equal Justice. In addition to her legal activities, she is an active member of the Junior League of Raleigh and serves as a chapter advisor to Kappa Delta Sorority at North Carolina State University. When she’s not working, Madeline enjoys cheering on her beloved Appalachian State Mountaineers, fly fishing, and spending time with her family.
