Ashley Kevitt
Ashley Kevitt is a family law attorney who joined Marshall & Taylor PLLC in 2023. Although she initially began her career focusing on estate planning, Ashley quickly discovered her true passion when she switched her focus to family law and continues to thrive in the field while making significant strides in advocating for her clients. Ashley began her legal career as an undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. She then attended law school at the New England School of Law in Boston, before moving back to North Carolina where she was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2014.
Throughout her career, Ashley has honed her skills both in and out of the courtroom, handling a diverse range of issues including divorce, separation, spousal support, child custody, child support, domestic violence, and asset division. She has also successfully facilitated adoptions in North Carolina and has experience drafting and negotiating pre- and post-nuptial agreements. Her extensive knowledge and hands-on approach make her a trusted advocate for families navigating complex legal challenges. With her blend of courtroom experience, negotiation skills, and genuine passion for family law, Ashley Kevitt is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of her clients and helping them navigate some of life’s most challenging moments.
In addition to her work in the office, Ashley is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Wake County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She is also an active member of her community where she volunteers with dog rescues such as Perfectly Imperfect Pets, as a temporary foster. Ashley loves to call Raleigh home and enjoys exploring the city, particularly its eclectic array of new restaurants always popping up. When she is not engaged in her work, Ashley appreciates spending time outdoors, especially in her hometown in the NC mountains as well as spoiling her beloved pug, Porter.
